HostSync can send the check-in link automatically as part of a pre-arrival message sequence. The timing is configurable per property — typically 24 to 72 hours before arrival. Guests complete the flow at their own pace before reaching the property.
What information is collected during online check-in?
The check-in flow collects arrival details, the number and names of guests, nationality, and identity document information as required. The specific fields shown are configurable and can be adapted to what your properties need to capture.
Is the online check-in guest-facing or staff-facing?
Both. Guests complete the check-in flow on their own device before arrival. Your team sees the results in the staff arrivals dashboard — check-in status, document receipt, and arrival confirmation — for all properties in one view.
Does this work for guests who do not complete check-in in advance?
Yes. Online check-in is designed as a pre-arrival option, not a requirement for entry. Walk-in arrivals and guests who skip the flow can still be checked in through the standard reservation workflow.
