Stripe payment processing

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are stored and managed through Stripe's secure payment infrastructure. HostSync does not handle card data directly.

VAT support

Add your VAT registration number to your billing profile. VAT is applied to invoices where applicable based on your billing address and registration information, subject to local regulations.

Failed payment recovery

When a payment attempt fails, HostSync is designed to notify your billing contact. You can update your payment method and retry from the billing dashboard before access is affected.

Questions about Billing

Which payment methods are supported?
HostSync uses Stripe to process subscription payments. Stripe supports major debit and credit cards. Payment method availability may vary by country. HostSync does not handle card data directly — all payment information is stored and managed through Stripe's payment infrastructure.
Can I download invoices for accounting?
Yes. Invoices for completed billing periods are available to download as PDF files from the billing dashboard. Each invoice includes your billing information, applicable VAT details and a breakdown of the charges for that period.
Is VAT supported on invoices?
VAT can be applied to invoices where applicable, based on the billing address and tax registration information on your account. VAT handling is subject to applicable local regulations. You can add your VAT registration number to your billing profile from the account settings.
Can I update my billing information?
Yes. Billing name, address, VAT number and billing contact email can be updated from the billing section of your HostSync account. Updated information applies to invoices issued after the change is saved.
What happens if a payment fails?
When a payment attempt fails, HostSync is designed to notify your billing contact so the issue can be resolved. You can update your payment method and retry from the billing dashboard. HostSync follows a grace period before any access is affected, subject to the specifics of the failure.
Is Stripe required to use HostSync?
Stripe is the payment processor used for HostSync subscription billing. A Stripe-compatible payment method is required to subscribe to a paid HostSync plan. Stripe is available in most countries where HostSync operates.
Can multiple properties share one subscription?
Yes. A single HostSync subscription covers your entire account. The subscription price is calculated based on your total number of active properties and connected channel configurations, as described on the Pricing page.
Can I change or cancel my subscription?
Yes. Subscription changes and cancellations can be managed from your account. Changes to property count or channel connections adjust your billing at the next billing cycle. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
